Meet the Divemasters
Amber Williams
Divemaster/Owner
Amber has been diving Hawaii's waters since she became certified in 1991, and is normally busy being the shark out of the water (attorney). Taking time to relax is the way she dives. She loves to look for little sea creatures and is known to get some pretty good close up photos. She is an experienced leader in both of her professions - just waiting to show other divers Hawaii's unique underwater habitat. Also for those of you with diving conflicts she has started a new mediation company called Kokua mediation Services.
Boots Williams
Dog master/Rock fetcher
There have been so many requests that he be their divemaster that we had to include him here. He is 8 years old and his love for the water started as a puppy and he soon grew to be a rock diver in the upper most echelon of rock divers. His swimming ability has given him the smooth gliding ability of a seal with the best doggie paddling we have ever seen. Really he is the class clown, but all of the kids love him.
Blade Shepherd-Jones
DM Extraordinaire
Born and raised in Hawaii, Blade keeps himself busy as a Divemaster, U.S. Coastguard Coxswain and high school science teacher. Primarily known as the shark whisperer and Captain Flying Dutchman. He is safe, fun and knowledgeable and always up for a challenge, don't get him talking about hippies though you'll never hear the end of it.
Sandi Strickland
Divemaster/RN
Sandi came to Hawaii as a traveling nurse and after falling in love with Hawaii's underwater world, found a permanent home. When she's not breaking the water as a delivery nurse you can find her breaking the surface water at some unusual and unexplored dive sites.
Charlie Kline
Divemaster/Photo pro
Charlie is a confident divemaster who is starting to explore the deep by becoming a certified technical diver. With a recently acquired, high resolution camera, we're expecting some photos from the deep by Charlie. Always willing to give a hand in what ever situation, just remember ask him to wash the hands since turd herding is his 9 to 5 (plumber).
Bobby Disney
Divemaster/Artillery Handler
Bobby is a Navy man who enjoys searching for long lost wrecks in Hawaiian waters. Bobby's excitement for diving shows through his enlistment and mentorship of newly certified divers. Remember when doing shore dives don't walk behind him; he's still a little leery from the Amber, Helena incident.
Gerry Vasquez
Divemaster/Heart Starter
Gerry came to Hawaii from New York and is originally from Puerto Rico. As a certified Respiratory Therapist he's always willing to give mouth to mouth demonstrations. Solo diving is a must for Gerry's relaxation so make sure he knows you're following him. Breathing comes natural to him so ask about air control tips.
