Directions
To Kewalo Basin, for dives out of Honolulu.
From Waikiki:
Take Ala Wai Blvd. west, turn right on Kalakaua Ave., follow Kalakaua Ave. one block to Kapiolani Blvd. and turn left. Take Kapiolani Blvd. one block to Atkinson Dr. and turn left. Take Atkinson Dr. for two blocks to Ala Moana Blvd. and turn right. Follow Ala Moana Blvd. for approx 5 blocks to Ward Ave. Make a U-turn entering Kewalo Basin. Go past all kiosks taking a right to the parking area. The first dock extending out you will meet at the Kahala Kai.
From Windward side of the Island:
Take the Pali Hwy. also known as Hwy. 61 towards Honolulu. Stay on the Pali Hwy. The Pali Hwy. changes to Bishop St. when you enter Honolulu. Stay on Bishop St. until you get to Ala Moana Blvd. Turn left on Ala Moana Blvd. and follow it to Ward Ave. Turn into Kewalo Basin on the right (just after Fisherman's Warf). Go past all kiosks taking a right to the parking area. The first dock extending out you will meet at the Kahala Kai.
From the North Shore or the West side of the Island:
Take the H1 Freeway East towards Honolulu. Exit right on the Pali Hwy. The Pali Hwy. changes to Bishop St. when you enter Honolulu. Stay on Bishop St. until you get to Ala Moana Blvd. Turn left on Ala Moana Blvd. and follow it to Ward Ave. Turn into Kewalo Basin on the right (just after Fisherman's Warf). Go past all kiosks taking a right to the parking area. The first dock extending out you will meet at the Kahala Kai.
To Koko Marina, for dives out of Hawaii Kai.
From Waikiki:
Take H1 East past Diamond head and entering Hawaii Kai follow it to Keahole St. Turn left onto Keahole St. and keep going for approximately 1 mile. Just over the canal make a right just past the McDonald's. You should have seen the water when you make that right hand turn. Turn right again at the McDonald's and the parking and boat dock is behind the McDonald's.
From North shore and West side:
Take the H1 Freeway East passing Honolulu, Waikiki and Diamondhead, after entering Hawaii Kai you will be looking for Keahole St. Turn left onto Keahole St. and keep going for approximately 1 mile. Just over the canal make a right just past the McDonald's. You should have seen the water when you make that right hand turn. Turn right again at the McDonald's and the parking and boat dock is behind the McDonald's.
From Windward side of the Island:
Take Hwy. 72 , also known as Kalanianaole Hwy., towards Waimanalo. You will drive around the South east point on the Island past Haunama Bay to Keahole St. Turn right onto Keahole St. and keep going for approximately 1 mile. Just over the canal make a right just past the McDonald's. You should have seen the water when you make that right hand turn. Turn right again at the McDonald's and the parking and boat dock is behind the McDonald's.
To Waianae Harbor for dives on the West side.
From Waikiki:
Take the H1 West towards the North shore, stay on the H1 passing the H2 along the way. The road will change from the H1 to Farrington Hwy also know as hwy 93. Stay on the Hwy heading West till you reach Waianae Town, watch for the Mcdonalds on the right after passing look for the fire station on the left. 2blocks after the fire station you will be making a left hand turn in to the Harbor, the boat will pull up by the large yellow crane.
