Diving accidents are predictable, and therefore, avoidable.

Diver struggles to reach the surface as he verges on panic. With his air supply exhausted, he pulls hard on the regulator, but gets no air at all. At the surface, he throws off his mask as he struggles to stay afloat, forgetting to release his weight belt or inflate his BC. With a feeble yell for help, then slips beneath the surface ...

Predictable

Overweight diver in poor physical condition returns to diving after a hiatus of several years. He pulls his old gear off a shelf in the garage, hops on a dive boat and attempts to dive on a current-swept reef at 80 feet. Anxious and struggling for much of the dive, he burns through his air supply at an alarming rate. Upon discovering his tank is nearly empty, the startled diver makes a rapid, ascent to the surface and suffers a fatal air embolism.

Padi Rescue Diver Course

 

Want to be able to handle emergency situations or just want to feel more confident with your diving skills?
Then the Rescue course is for you.

You must be a PADI Advanced diver (or equivalent) with decent diving skills by the start of the course. You also must have a current adult CPR and First AID card.

Minimum age: 15 years old (12 for PADI Junior Rescue Diver)
The Rescue Diver training takes place over 2 days, with all of our courses home self study must be completed by the 1st day of class. Your first day will consist of knowledge development curriculum followed by 10 confined water skills; and the 2nd day will cover 4 rescue scenarios while completing 2 Openwater shore dives.

Your 2 days do not need to be consecutive. We will always try to fit the course to YOU!
